Julian Lewis, one of the nation’s most sought-after quarterbacks in the 2025 class, is making his fourth trip to Boulder this weekend. The player is putting Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes in the spotlight.
Lewis, ranked No. 2 overall and currently committed to USC, will be on hand for Colorado’s game against Cincinnati, according to ESPN’s Eli Lederman.
A post came out on the Buffaloes' Twitter page with a caption saying, "2025 5B Julian Lewis will be visiting Colorado again this weekend." Fans, on the other hand, are folding the comment section.
"Just come home man. He’s definitely a buffalo," one fan said.
Another fan said: "Time to lock him in."
Some other fans even predicted the result of the game: "This a must win for this season and the future"
Another fan said: "He's a Buff! No doubt in my mind. Lls"
Another fan said: "Bring it home JuJu!!! LFG!!
Julian Lewis is about to make his way on the Colorado team
Colorado was previously prepared to welcome Lewis to the team soon. Meanwhile, some special treatments, like a custom-named burger at local favorite The Sink, were on the list. That was where his name featured prominently at Boulder’s Fox Theater. In July, Sanders talked about Lewis' entrance into the team.
Quarterback Shedeur Sanders and standout Travis Hunter will head to the NFL Draft next spring. On the other hand, the team is bringing in a high-caliber successor in Lewis. Colorado enters the Cincinnati game at 5-2 and boasts a 3-1 Big 12 record. Securing Lewis means Sanders’ first five-star commitment for the 2025 class.
