College football fans are buzzing with mixed emotions over EA College Football 25's Road to Glory mode. Many were disappointed with limited position choices, which excluded offensive and defensive linemen positions, and special teams roles like kicker or punter.

In the College Football 25 game, players can choose from these positions:

• Wide Receiver (WR)
• Middle Linebacker (MLB)
• Cornerback (CB)

“Just doesn’t make sense why every single position wouldn’t be available,” one fan said.

“Safety, tight end, and edge rusher should be in the game but hopefully next year,” another fan said.

According to EA College Football 25, players will choose a starting mental ability after customizing the player. Each position has three core mental abilities linked to weekly tasks:

1. Fan Favorite: Boosts composure at home if GPA is above 3.0.
2. Road Dog: Boosts composure on the road when you reach Influencer status.
3. Clearheaded: Reduces composure loss during games when you're an excellent leader.

Players who choose the Elite or Blue Chip journeys will get a fourth mental ability that's always active and specific to the position.
