Colorado Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders had a press conference on Friday, which was also his birthday. He answered queries about the Buffaloes and announced that he had become a grandfather. Sanders also ignored a local reporter from a major outlet in sports broadcasting.

Sanders refused to answer questions asked by the reporter from CBS and he said,

"I’m not doing anything with CBS. Next question. . . . It ain’t got nothing to do with you. It’s above that. It ain’t got nothing to do with you. I’ve got love for you. I appreciate and respect you. It ain’t got nothing to do with you. They know what they did,” Sanders explained.

This is not the first time that Sanders has had a falling out with a reporter from CBS.

How did Deion Sanders fall out with Tin McCraver?

An infamous incident occurred during the high of Deion Sanders' playing career. In 1992, Sanders was playing for both the Atlanta Falcons in the NFL and the Atlanta Braves of the MLB and during that year, he attempted to play for both teams on the same day.

On October 12, Sanders first played in Miami against the Dolphins in an early game in the NFL season. He then traveled to Pittsburgh to help the Braves in their postseason campaign. He was able to make it to the game, however, he did not play.

Sanders playing for two teams and abandoning his team in the postseason did not sit well with baseball reporter Tim McCarver, who openly criticized Deion Sanders for this.

Things went to the next level a couple of days later, after the Braves had won the National League Championship. McCarver was reporting from the Braves locker room after the series win when Sanders dumped two buckets of water over him.

How did Deion Sanders react?

Sanders once told his side of the story, which included his thoughts on the incident. It happened during the ESPN documentary "Deion's Double Play," which was about the events of October 12. He said in the documentary,

"What I am gonna do, go knock at him, take a swing at him. I ain't doing that... I just wanted to bring him down a little bit," Sanders stated.

Sanders did not win the World Series with the Braves, but became the only player to score a touchdown in the Super Bowl and a home run in the World Series.
