The Kentucky Wildcats and the No. 7 Tennessee Volunteers face off in Week 10 of the college football season. The Wildcats (3–5, 1–5 Southeastern Conference) and the Vols (6–1, 3–1) will need this game for different reasons. Kentucky is trying to make a bowl game, while Tennessee is fighting for the SEC Championship Game.
The injury report lists a few key players on both sides, so let's examine it.
Kentucky Wildcats injury report Week 10
The Kentucky Wildcats have been dealing with injuries to players who haven't been able to do too much throughout the season thus far. Let's look at some of the more intriguing players who will swing the outcome of this game.
Demie Sumo-Karngbaye, RB
Senior running back Demie Sumo-Karngbaye is listed as questionable ahead of the team's Week 10 game against the Tennessee Volunteers as he battles an undisclosed injury. Sumo-Karngbaye has been doing well this year. He has 92 rushing attempts for 419 yards (4.6 yards per attempt). He also has four rushing touchdowns and 12 receptions for 108 yards (9.0 yards per catch).
Chip Trayanum, RB
Even if Demie Sumo-Karngbaye is banged up, one of the rotational running backs is senior running back Chip Trayanum. However, he is expected to be ruled out for this game due to an ankle injury. Trayanum made his season debut against the Florida Gators a few weeks ago but missed the most recent game. He has posted seven carries for 26 yards (3.7 yards per attempt) thus far.
Tennessee Volunteers injury report Week 10
The Tennessee Volunteers have a handful of players on the injury report and this is going to be interesting. Both sides deal with some ailments, which may affect the game.
Squirrel White, WR
Junior wide receiver Squirrel White is listed as questionable for this game. He deals with a shoulder injury that forced him out of the Alabama game. However, coach Josh Heupel said he expects White to be on the field when asked last Wednesday.
"Feel like Squirrel will be ready to roll and when we get to the next football game," he said. h/t On3
White has been an integral part of the passing game for the Vols. He has 20 receptions for 230 yards (11.5 yards per catch) but has not found the end zone yet this year.
William Satterwhite, OL
The only player to have his status change for Tennessee is offensive lineman William Satterwhite. He was originally listed as questionable but has elevated to probable during the week. Satterwhite is the backup center and has made three appearances this season.
