While Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin left the USC football program in 2013, one of his daughters is set to begin life as a student-athlete at the university. Presley Kiffin, Lane's second daughter, is set to enroll and begin her college volleyball career with the Trojans.
Presley Kiffin shared a picture of herself in a USC volleyball kit on Instagram on Sunday, showcasing her readiness for the next level. The series of photos in the post disclosed what her jersey number for the Trojans would be.
She also reinstated her anticipation and readiness for the upcoming challenge at the university, as the post's caption read:
“Almost time,” Presley wrote.
Presley Kiffin committed to USC in March
Presley Kiffin announced her commitment to play college volleyball at USC in March. She was highly recruited, with many schools holding significant interest in her. However, she decided to have her college career in-state, having lived with her mother Layla in Los Angeles, California. She announced in March:
"I am beyond grateful to announce that I will be continuing my athletic and academic career at the University of Southern California. A huge thank you to the USC coaching staff for this amazing opportunity.
I want to thank all my coaches, family, friends, and especially @mizunolongbeach for their incredible support and guidance throughout the past couple years. So excited to be a Trojan! FIGHT ON❤️💛."
Presley Kiffin had her high school career at the Mater Dei (California) where she was one of the school's most notable athletes. She was a five-time player of the year in her volleyball team, showcasing the level of talent he’s set to offer the Trojans.
Lane Kiffin happy with Presley going to USC
While Lane Kiffin didn't leave USC on a good note, he’s happy that his daughter will be attending the university. Following her commitment to the university in March, the Ole Miss football coach shared a heartfelt post on X, featuring a side-by-side picture of Presley Kiffin on the field at USC as a little girl alongside a recent picture after committing to the Trojans.
He captioned it with:
"Congrats Presley!!! We are so proud of you. Time flies," Lane wrote.
Kiffin’s son Knox has also previously visited the USC football program where he met with Lincoln Riley. The Class of 2028 quarterback also has the chance to play for the Trojans.
