Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders and his team suffered their first loss of the season in week 2 to the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Following the loss, Matt Rhule's team celebrated their victory by dancing to Shedeur's rap song "Perfect Timing" in the locker room.

Sanders came forward to speak up about the Nebraska Cornhuskers engaging in celebrating their victory with his song.

In Wednesday's episode of his podcast "2Legendary with Shedeur Sanders," the Colorado QB said that there is no reason for him to get mad because the spoils of war go to the victor in the end.

"I mean I feel like they doing what they supposed to do," Shedeur said. "Let them talk bro they supposed to. You know you winning like they winning they supposed to be able to do that. Like I want, there's no reason to even get mad over that type of stuff.
"It's like okay they have, they basically are able to do that because of the position you know that they are in. They're running the games so let them do that," (4:15 onwards)

Shedeur Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes struggled against the Nebraska Cornhuskers on the gridiron. He was sacked five times as the O-line failed to protect Shedeur on the field.

The Cornhuskers put up a 28-0 lead at the end of the first half. QB Dylan Raiola had an impressive game as he recorded 185 passing yards and one touchdown pass. On the other hand, Shedeur Sanders threw 244 passing yards and one TD, which came in the fourth quarter of the game to make the score 28-10.

Shedeur Sanders reveals the reason behind him leaving the game against Nebraska in the final minutes

During the Week 2 showdown against the Cornhuskers, the Colorado QB was seen exiting the game with two minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. This led to many fans criticizing Shedeur's leadership abilities.

However, on his podcast, the Colorado QB cleared the air surrounding his decision to leave with just minutes left during the game against Nebraska.

"That was crazy. I heard people thought I just quit on the team, which is wild. They just took me in for a concussion protocol. Make sure I was all right," Shedeur said. (0:40 onwards)

It didn't matter, as the Buffs were already too far away from making a comeback in the game. Backup QB Ryan Staub got some time after Shedeur's exit.

Shedeur Sanders and the Buffs will now face the Colorado State Rams in the Rocky Mountain Showdown in Week 3. Coach Prime and his team will hope to register their second victory and improve on last season's 4-8 campaign.
