Deion Sanders hyped up the Colorado Buffaloes amid transfer portal criticism.

Deion Sanders dropped a cryptic message about the Colorado Buffaloes program amid the transfer portal rush. He didn't specify anything about what the message was about, though he did thank Jesus for it. This comes amid several incomings and outgoings for Colorado since the transfer portal opened about a week ago.

“Lord JESUS ANOTHER 1! Thank u lawd!”

Coach Prime tagged the Buffaloes football program to clarify that the message was about his work.

There has been a lot of in-and-out movement in Boulder for the last few days, with cornerback Adam Hopkins joining hosts of other teammates in the portal.

On the other hand, Colorado has landed defensive lineman Rayyan Buell from Ohio, offensive tackle Payton Kirkland from the Texas Longhorns and edge rusher Dayon Hayes from Pittsburgh. And this is in just the last couple of days.

Apart from criticism about departures, Coach Prime also saw a controversy erupt after sons Shedeur and Shilo Sanders interacted with potential recruits in the portal to convince them to come to Colorado. But Sanders has refuted all the criticism and defended his way of doing it.

Deion Sanders downplayed transfer portal criticism

Deion Sanders doesn't believe Colorado is losing much with players entering the transfer portal.

During a press conference, reporters pressed him on the issue, saying he might be losing potential starters to departures. But Coach Prime countered the notion, saying that the critics haven't been paying attention to the team's practice.

“I wish you guys do a little more homework when you start talking about the portal and understand what we losing, What are we losing? I got time today.
"What are we losing? Potential? Where? You haven’t been watching practice, have you? We’re good. We’re good,” the head coach said on the matter.

Sanders has a lot to prove after winning only four games last year. He hopes to have a better year as the team switches to the Big 12. Will the new-look team manage to achieve that? Let us know in the comments section.
