“Love the transparency”: Coach Prime’s ex-wife Pilar Sanders playfully supports Shilo Sanders as he reveals using AI for new album

Shilo Sanders is making headlines off the football field as he prepares for the 2025 NFL Draft. The Colorado Buffaloes safety has turned his focus to music, dropping his debut album, "Hate 2 Love," on streaming platforms last week.

However, Shilo stirred up curiosity and amusement when he admitted to using artificial intelligence for some of his lyrics.

“Sometimes bro, if I was in high school now, I’d be getting straight A’s, cause ChatGPT is just unlimited,” Shilo said on a podcast. “I be using AI for lyrics sometimes ... It gives you good ideas, and then you can expand on that."

Co-host Darius Sanders called him an "AI rapper."

Shilo embraced the chatter by captioning a reel:

"Which bars on the album do y’all think I used Chat GPT? 😂 #hate2love."

His mom and Coach Prime’s ex-wife, Pilar Sanders commented and praised him for transparency:

The album, featuring 15 tracks on YouTube, has already received a warm reception. It’s been over 20 years since Coach Prime released his own album, "Prime Time." Looks like talent runs deep in the Sanders family.

Pilar couldn't contain her pride as she shared her excitement on Instagram. She posted a screenshot of the album cover, enthusiastically captioning it:
