Travis Hunter has had an extraordinary season which culminated in the Colorado Buffaloes star winning the Heisman Trophy.

Hunter has a NIL value of $5.2 million according to On3.com, which is one of the biggest in college football. Now, details of Hunter's involvement in the Buffaloes' own NIL fund have been released.

It turns out that Hunter does not make any money from the Buffaloes' collective NIL deals. Additionally, he pays the deals for a number of his teammates.

Here is how college football fans have reacted to this revelation on social media. These fans are praising Hunter for his selfless actions:

"This is a great great human being..proud of Travis Hunter," said this fan.
"He is a class act and from what I understand, a great student. An exemplary leader. Amazing how he plays at an elite level on both sides of the football as well. The epitome of a Heisman Trophy winner," said another fan.
"Very classy move. Team Guy," said a third fan.

However, these fans are skeptical over this claim and are wondering how Hunter is able to do this:

"That is not true..... dude getting paid...No college student just gives away all their money and can afford to fly 50 people to an award show," said this fan.
"How would he possibly pay for 50 people unless he has people giving him millions," asked another fan.
"Yeah that’s BS he hasn’t taken money. Where his cars and chain come from?" Said a third fan.

How can Travis Hunter do this?

Travis Hunter makes no money from the Buffaloes' collective NIL and is involved in paying for his teammates' deals as well. But, how does he do this?

This all relates to the numerous personal NIL deals that the Heisman Trophy winner has signed. These numerous deals are worth $5.2 million combined. They include such companies as Adidas, EA Sports (for which Hunter was a cover athlete on the college football game) and United Airlines.

The latter could be used to explain how Hunter was able to fly many staff and teammates out to the Heisman Trophy ceremony in New York City.

However, Hunter is doing a very generous thing in helping his teammates financially. This shows that he is a strong team player who cares about the people around him.

Stories like this, if true, will only help his standing in society and will help his already extremely high draft stock.
