Shedeur Sanders passed for 266 yards and three touchdowns in the Colorado Buffaloes' 37-21 loss against the Kansas Jayhawks in Week 13. Off the gridiron, the quarterback's draft speculation has been making the rounds.

During an episode of "The Ringer's" podcast, host Bill Simmons discussed the speculation linking Shedeur and his father, Deion Sanders, with a move to the Raiders. He agreed with the move while comparing owner Mark Davis to Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.

"I'm with you," Simmons said. "Mark Davis is nothing like (Jerry Jones). First of all, his hair is beautiful, it really is impeccable. Secondly, he doesn't care who gets the spotlight, he just wants to be Raiders. That is the perfect, perfect move for them. Shedeur and Deion. People are saying Deion and Shedeur are gonna go to Dallas, not gonna happen."

Simmon's co-host agreed with him regarding the Raiders being the perfect fit for Deion and Shedeur Sanders.

"This has Shedeur Sanders and Deion Sanders written all over it," Sal said. "Like all over it. And by the way, I'm here for it. So Vegas (Raiders) is gonna have a top three pick. I would assume their coach, Bobby Bacala is gonna go back to being Uncle Junior's driver. After the season, their gonna need a coach, they need a quarterback.
"The Vegas Raiders with Deion and his son, like I'm in. That would be great. The merch would be the number one merch, the Sanders, hard knocks, ten-year contract, like let's go! What are we waiting for?"

Analyst suggests Deion and Shedeur Sanders going to Jets

In his weekly column, The Athletic's Draft expert Zack Rosenblatt pitched Shedeur Sanders to the New York Jets as a replacement for Aaron Rodgers, combining him with his charismatic father, Deion Sanders, as a package deal to sell tickets for the struggling organization.

"Jets owner Woody Johnson wants to sell tickets above all else, and Sanders is about as flashy as coaching candidates come," Rosenblatt wrote. "The prospect of pairing Sanders with his son Shedeur, a potential first-round quarterback, might appeal to the Jets owner."

In the past, Deion Sanders has emphasized during news conferences that his future would not be dictated by his sons departing for the NFL. Both Colorado and NFL fans will be keen to see whether Coach Prime will be tempted by the bright lights of the NFL especially if a franchise drafts Shedeur Sanders.
