The Georgia Bulldogs and the Florida Gators meet every year, and the game is one of the few remaining rivalry games that is played at a neutral site. The game is held at Everbank Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida, but from 2026, it will have a new location temporarily.

As per Brett McMurphy's tweet:

"Florida-Georgia game moving to Atlanta’s @MBStadium in 2026 & Tampa’s @RJStadium in 2027, sources told @ActionNetworkHQ. The series takes a 2-year break from Jacksonville as EverBank Stadium undergoes renovations. It returns to Jax in 2028, source said."

The game will be moved for two years starting in 2026 due to renovations to the Jacksonville Jaguars' home stadium. However, the neutral site tradition will continue to be upheld.

In 2025, the game will be played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, which is also the home of the SEC Championship game.

The 2026 game will return to the state of Florida, with Raymond James Stadium, the home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, hosting the game, before a return to Jacksonville in 2027.

Georgia vs Florida: Head to Head Record

Georgia Bulldogs and Florida Gators have met 101 times previously, with the Bulldogs winning 55 times, while two of these meetings have ended in ties.

Currently, the Bulldogs are on a three-game winning streak against Florida and are likely to increase this to four games when the two meet on Saturday

Current forms of Bulldogs and Gators

Focusing on the 2024 edition of the game, the No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs are favored to record another win against their rivals.

Coming into this week, the Bulldogs are 6-1 (4-1 SEC) and, in their last game, defeated the Texas Longhorns 30-15.

They are still one of the strongest teams in College Football, and an easy victory here will help their chances in what is a close race for a spot in the SEC Championship game.

On the contrary, the Florida Gators come into the game with a 4-3 (2-2 SEC) record. After a mixed start to the season, the Gators have shown some promise recently, convincingly defeating the Kentucky Wildcats last week.

However, things are about to get much tougher for Billy Napier's side. The Bulldogs open a four-game stretch, where they will face the No. 6 Texas Longhorns, No. 19 Ole Miss Rebels and No. 16 LSU Tigers.

If the Gators can stay competitive in these games, it could be considered a big win for Billy Napier who is on a hot seat.
