Miami (OH) RedHawks Transfer Portal Tracker 2024-25: List of players leaving Chuck Martin's RedHawks

The Miami (OH) RedHawks had an up-and-down year as they finished the regular season with an 8-4 record, including a 7-1 mark in MAC play. After starting the season 1-4, they were able to win their final seven games of the season. The RedHawks suffered a 38-3 blowout loss to the Ohio Bobcats in the MAC Championship Game.

With the transfer portal now officially open, several players have already announced their intention to change programs.

Here's a closer look at which Miami (OH) players were among that group.

Miami (OH) RedHawks transfer portal tracker 2024-25

#1: Javon Tracy, Wide Receiver

Javon Tracy joined the Miami (OH) RedHawks as a three-star prospect in the 2022 recruiting class. He appeared in 29 games, recording 79 receptions for 1,166 yards and eight touchdowns. Tracy also threw one pass, completing it for a 30-yard touchdown. He announced his decision to enter the transfer portal on Dec. 9 and committed to join the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Dec. 15.

#2: Reggie Virgil, Wide Receiver

Reggie Virgil joined the Miami (OH) RedHawks as a three-star prospect in the 2022 recruiting class. He appeared in 36 games, recording 43 receptions for 878 yards and ten touchdowns. Virgil announced his decision to enter the transfer portal on Dec. 9 and committed to join the Texas Tech Red Raiders on Dec. 13.

#3: Will Jados, Offensive Tackle

Will Jados joined the Miami (OH) RedHawks as a two-star prospect in the 2021 recruiting class. He appeared in 37 games during his tenure with the program. Jados announced his decision to enter the transfer portal on Dec. 10 and committed to join the Texas Tech Red Raiders on Dec. 15.

#4: Raion Strader, Cornerback

Raion Strader joined the Miami (OH) RedHawks as an unranked walk-on prospect in the 2023 recruiting class. He appeared in 25 games, recording 110 total tackles, 80 of which were solo tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss, three interceptions and 31 passes defended. Strader announced his decision to enter the transfer portal on Dec. 9 and committed to join the Auburn Tigers on Dec. 16.

#5: William Hardrick, Cornerback

William Hardrick initially joined the Mississippi State Bulldogs as a three-star prospect in the 2021 recruiting class. He did not record any stats during his tenure with the program. Hardrick joined the Miami (OH) RedHawks via the transfer portal ahead of the 2023 season. He appeared in 18 games, recording 32 total tackles, 20 of which were solo tackles, one forced fumble and five passes defended. Hardrick announced his decision to enter the transfer portal on Dec. 9.

#6: TJ Rush, Safety

TJ Rush joined the Miami (OH) RedHawks as a three-star prospect in the 2020 recruiting class. He did not record any stats during his tenure with the program. Rush announced his decision to enter the transfer portal on Dec. 10.

#7: Caleb Schlater, Long Snapper

Caleb Schlater joined the Miami (OH) RedHawks as an unranked walk-on prospect in the 2024 recruiting class. He did not see the field during his lone season with the program. Schlater announced his decision to enter the transfer portal on Dec. 9.
