Coach Prime was involved in a heated argument with the referees during Colorado's win over Texas Tech on Saturday. Deion Sanders was visibly unhappy with the Red Raiders fans throwing bottles and other objects toward his players on the field and was seen complaining to the officials about the issue at Jones AT&T field.

However, comedian Lou Young decided to mimic Sanders on the issue, which got a laugh from many including the Buffs coach, actor Michael B. Jordan, and others.

When Sanders reposted Young's hilarious Instagram reel, mimicking the Colorado coach and his argument with the refs, Jordan responded with a laughing emoji to the post.

Young, a former cornerback, dressed up as Sanders in his skit. He even wore shades, a headset and Colorado gear to look as similar as he could to Coach Prime.

Sanders' Colorado beat Texas Tech 41-27 in Week 11. It was the seventh win of the season for the Buffs, who still have hopes of reaching the College Football Playoff.

No. 18 Colorado (7-2, 5-1 Big 12) has been among one of the most improved teams this season. They finished with a dismal 4-8 record in Coach Prime's first season at the helm, but now stand a chance at making the playoffs.

Sanders will still know that his team has to win its remaining three regular-season games to stand a chance at reaching the College Football Playoff. However, given Colorado's current run, there is a strong possibility the Buffs can progress to the expanded 12-team playoffs.

Furthermore, Colorado has two Heisman contenders in quarterback Shedeur Sanders and two-way superstar Travis Hunter, which can boost the team's rankings in the AP Poll.

Here's a look at Colorado's remaining fixtures for the 2024 regular season:

  • Nov. 16: vs. Utah
  • Nov. 23: at Kansas
  • Nov. 30: vs. Oklahoma
