No. 1 ranked Texas hosted Mississippi State on Saturday in what was expected to be an exciting Southeastern Conference encounter. The Longhorns are arguably the most dominant team in college football this season and they entered the game as an overwhelming favorite.
The Bulldogs’ start to life under Jeff Lebby hasn’t been impressive with just a win in the first four games. They were given little chance of staging an upset at home against Steve Sarkisian's team, which currently holds the top spot in the AP Poll.

The third quarter of the game was almost barren. However, the Longhorns were able to exert their dominance in the game with a 21-yard touchdown from quarterback Arch Manning in the last second of the quarter.
