Former Alabama Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban has become a fan favorite in his new role as an analyst on ESPN's "College GameDay." As the crew has traveled across the country this season, Saban has brought his wife, Miss Terry, along with him.
On the set of the show in College Station ahead of Saturday's pivotal clash between the Texas A&M Aggies and the Texas Longhorns for a spot in the Southeastern Conference championship, a fan proposed to his girlfriend.
Saban was then asked for his advice to the couple, to which he recalled a hilarious story about his marriage to Miss Terry:
"Well, we're going on 53 years. So, we have coffee cups. Miss Terry bought us coffee cups. My coffee cup says 'Mr. Right,' I say that sounds good. But then her coffee cup says "Mrs. Never Wrong."
Miss Terry and Nick Saban share hilarious College GameDay moments
When Miss Terry was chosen to be the guest picker for the Week 5 clash between the Georgia Bulldogs and the Alabama Crimson Tide, she had a cheeky remark about Nick Saban:
"I've already been working on my picks, and I think I'm going to beat Nick. I don't know why Nick is so worried about my picks. He keeps wanting to see them. He's just that way. He's very competitive about everything."
After hearing that, Saban replied:
"After 52 years (of marriage), I know if she wins this, it's going to cost me something."
When her husband picked the UCF Knights to beat the Colorado Buffaloes, coached by their good friend Deion Sanders, Miss Terry cheekily disagreed with him:
"Against our good friend, Deion. Really? He texted you this week and said what a great job you were doing. I got your back, Deion. Colorado!"
The Buffaloes blew out the Knights 48-21 in the road game.
