Ryan Koenigsberg, DNVR's co-founder and VP of content strategy, had a lot to say about Colorado’s haters. On Monday’s “DNVR Buffs Podcast,” he recapped a dream Week 10 for Coach Prime and his Buffaloes, who now sit third in the Big 12 standings after Kansas State’s surprising loss to Houston.

With Iowa State’s defeat to Texas Tech, Colorado’s path to the Big 12 championship game just got a little clearer. The Buffs also climbed to No. 21 in the latest AP Top 25 Poll, one spot above Kansas State.

Via a tweet on Monday, Koenigsberg noted that this season’s highlights include seeing fans who spent the offseason criticizing Colorado’s roster and leadership face a reality check about their own teams.

“One of the most satisfying parts of this season has been watching the many fanbases who spent the entire offseason focusing on Colorado, manufacturing narratives of dysfunction and poor roster construction, realize that the dysfunction and poor roster construction was in their own backyard all along,” Koenigsberg wrote.

Teams just outside the Top 25 still receiving votes included Missouri (81), South Carolina (58), Tulane (41), Louisiana-Lafayette (9), UNLV (9), Washington (4), Arizona State (3), Iowa (2) and Texas Tech (2).

Deion Sanders' Colorado squad moves up two spots from last week

Deion Sanders' Colorado squad climbed to No. 21 in the Week 11 AP Poll, moving up two spots from last week. Now sitting at 6-2, the Buffaloes first cracked the rankings after their 34-23 victory over Cincinnati—a second straight Big 12 win following a dominant 34-7 showing against Arizona.

While the early-season loss to Nebraska stings a bit, the Cornhuskers' current 5-4 record softens the blow. Colorado also fell to Kansas State in October, though the Wildcats (7-2) are now ranked right below the Buffs at No. 22.

With the Big 12 title game in sight, Colorado is chasing No. 9 BYU (8-0, 5-0 in conference) and No. 17 Iowa State (7-1, 4-1). The Buffaloes' remaining schedule includes Texas Tech, Utah, Kansas and Oklahoma State, with only Texas Tech (6-3) currently above .500.
