Cal welcomed NC State to the Memorial Stadium in Berkeley for a Week 8 Atlantic Coast Conference encounter on Saturday. It was the first time the two universities are meeting as a conference rival following the Golden Bears transition this season.

The Wolfpack entered the matchup on the back of two straight losses, struggling to find their rhythm in recent weeks. On the other side, Cal started the season strong with a 3-0 record, surprising many. However, the Golden Bears have since hit a rough patch, losing all three of their ACC games by just one score.

Both teams will be hungry to reverse their fortunes and get back on track in this pivotal Week 8 contest. Cal entered the game as a 10-point favorite with total points set at 46 points.
