The New Mexico State Aggies traveled to Florida for their final midweek game of the season to take on conference foes the Florida International Panthers on Tuesday at Pitbull Stadium.

The New Mexico State lost the game 34-13, dropping to 2-6 and seventh in CUSA. They must now win all four remaining games to become bowl-eligible.

New Mexico State vs FIU Game Summary

FIU secured a decisive victory over NMSU with a final score of 34-13, following a series of big plays in the second half.

1st Quarter:

No scoring occurred as both teams struggled to find the end zone.

2nd Quarter:

NMSU struck first with a 57-yard field goal by Abraham Montano, putting them up 3-0.

FIU answered quickly as Keyone Jenkins threw a 52-yard touchdown pass to Eric Rivers, giving FIU a 7-3 lead.

Just before halftime, Montano kicked another long field goal (54 yards), bringing NMSU within one point.

3rd Quarter:

FIU widened the lead with Jenkins hitting Rivers again for a 51-yard touchdown, making it 14-6 after the PAT.
