EA Sports College Football 25 has become the talk of the town ahead of its highly-anticipated release on July 19. However, a select few have already got their hands on the game.

On Friday, Kansas City Chiefs icon and three-time Super Bowl winner Patrick Mahomes posted two pictures of him on Instagram playing the game.

Even Baltimore Ravens quarterback and two-time MVP Lamar Jackson took some time off to play EA Sports College Football 25 on Friday night.

Before establishing himself as one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, Mahomes played from 2014 to 2016 at Texas Tech. The signal-caller racked up 11,252 yards on 857 passes for 93 touchdowns with the Red Raiders before declaring for the 2017 NFL Draft. The Chiefs picked Mahomes with the No. 10 pick.

Meanwhile, Jackson played three seasons of college football at Louisville. The quarterback threw for 9,043 yards on 619 passes with 69 touchdowns. He also rushed for 4,132 rushing yards and 50 touchdowns before declaring for the 2018 NFL Draft.

While many fans eagerly await the release of EA Sports College Football 25, Colorado coach Deion Sanders expressed his dissatisfaction with the game on Thursday.

While speaking to reporters on Thursday, Sanders criticized EA for how it rated his Colorado players Sheduer Sanders and Travis Hunter.

"I'm not a video game guy," Sanders said. "I love video games but I'm a real game guy. I don't know. Like, you guys talk about ratings and rankings, I don't know about that stuff.
"I'm just trying to figure out how can Shedeur be tied with another person. How did that happen? And how can Travis not have the highest score on the game when he's arguably the best receiver and the best defensive back in college football? So, how can you not be the number one rated guy, period? I don't understand that either."

Earlier this week, Deion Sanders Jr. took a sly dig at his father, Sanders Sr. It was for not getting recognition from EA Sports in the buildup to the release of the College Football 25. Hence, Sanders Sr.'s comments on the highly-anticipated video game might have resulted from being ignored by the game developers.
