Deion Sanders has a keen eye when it comes to football. He has always been a preacher of work ethics, which was once again evident as he stumbled upon a video featuring former Alabama cornerback Terrion Arnold.
In the video, Arnold is sweating it out on the training field with drills. He captioned his tweet:
"Scary hours in the lab all off season!"
Sanders, always a fan of putting in the work and sweating it out, lauded Arnold over his skills. The Colorado HC tweeted:
"Nice work man! 💯✅🙏💲"
The CB made the transition to the NFL, picked by the Detroit Lions in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft. The Florida native along with Alabama QB Jalen Milroe were the ones to bring the "LANK" [Let All Naysayers Know] motto to the Crimson Tide.
Deion Sanders' Colorado tenure called a circus
After leaving Jackson State to become the head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes, Coach Prime brought much fanfare to the program. His sons, Shedeur and Shilo Sanders, followed him to Boulder.
Despite the initial hype, Sanders’ debut season ended with a disappointing 4-8 record, missing out on bowl game eligibility. Keeping this background in mind, Sanders’ tenure at Colorado has been branded a "circus" by Oliver Vandervoort of the Husker Corner.
Vandervoort believes Sanders and his family are detrimental to the program, saying (per Husker Corner):
"Sanders' tenure has been a circus, and it's time for the show to end. Despite the hype, there's no evidence he is beneficial for CU."
He also criticized the Sanders clan, particularly pointing out Shilo’s recent lawsuit, claiming their presence is "disruptive" and called for a complete overhaul.
"It's time to clean house, and a defeat to the Cornhuskers could be the catalyst for their exit," Vandervoort said.
As the upcoming season approaches, all eyes will be on whether Sanders can turn things around or if his critics will be proven right.
