Nick Saban and Ms Terry shares warm 4th of July wishes on behalf of Nick's Kids Foundation

The iconic 'Bama head coach Nick Saban and his wife, Ms. Terry, celebrated the 4th of July with each other. The couple's charity organization, Nick's Kids Foundation, uploaded a cheerful picture of them on their official social media account.

Nick and Terry smiled ear to ear with their furry friend in the frame. The caption of the image was:

"Happy 4th of July from the Saban Family to yours! 🇺🇸♥️💙🤍🇺🇸"

Their family created the non-profit organization to raise funds and support "children, family, teacher and student causes."

How did Nick Saban meet his wife, Terry?

The former Alabama Crimson Tide head coach is now retired and enjoying life with his wife, Terry. The couple, married for over 50 years, has shared each other’s successes over the years. Terry’s support helped him achieve six national titles and a 206-29 record with the Crimson Tide, along with an NCAA championship title with LSU in 2003.

Their love story goes back way, Nick Saban and Terry were childhood friends who later became sweethearts before tying the knot and starting a family with each other.

Terry met her future husband when she was in seventh grade in Fairmont, West Virginia. The two belonged to the same town. When Terry met Saban, she was not into him and was instead dating another person. Nick Saban said, as per People:

"She was from the city... She was the Queen Bee [at East Fairmont High], the drum majorette and all that stuff. I just could not get a date. And here I am, the country bumpkin out here pumping gas every day."

Terry finally gave Nick a chance when they were in high school and the future national champion made it worth a while. The couple tied the knot in December 1971 and has always stayed with each other, supporting each other in different chapters of their lives.
