Kristen Saban, the daughter of former Alabama coach Nick Saban, is a big football fan and an ardent follower of the Crimson Tide. Since Saban concluded his coaching career after leading Alabama to a 12-2 record last season, he has been working with ESPN on its "College GameDay" Saturday pregame show.
Kristen, a regular at Alabama games, was often noticed for her stunning outfits. While Alabama is off to a strong 5-1 start under coach Kalen DeBoer, Kristen has been keeping up with every game but also taking it easy and exploring other interests.
Kristen had a blast at the Post Malone concert on Tuesday night with her friends. She couldn’t help but share the moment with her fans, posting an Instagram story of the singer performing his hit song "I Fall Apart."
The concert took place at the Oak Mountain Amphitheatre in Birmingham, and like many fans, Kristen was blown away by his performance. Even after the concert was over and she was back home, Post Malone’s vibe stayed with her.
She posted another story, this time showing off a late-night healthy snack from Doich and cheekily captioned:
"Post - @postmalone late night healthy snack @doichfoods."
Back in June, Kristen got to watch The Rolling Stones live with her parents, Nick and Terry. After 17 seasons coaching Alabama, Nick Saban is now enjoying retirement.
It seems his stepping away from coaching has also taken the pressure off his family, who used to feel the intensity of game days. Now, they can sit back, relax and cheer for Alabama wholeheartedly without the stress that came with his coaching years.
Kristen Saban Reaffirms Loyalty to Alabama Amid Fan Backlash
Kristen Saban faced some backlash from fans after her comments following Alabama’s unexpected 40-35 loss to Vanderbilt in Week 6. The defeat stung, coming at a time when many expected Alabama to dominate. Following the game, Kristen shared an Instagram story, stating:
"Me going to bed tonight knowing I do not have to take these games personally anymore."
This sparked reactions from Alabama fans, with some questioning her loyalty to the team now that her father is no longer the coach.
Sensing the sentiment, Kristen quickly cleared the air in a followup video, explaining that she still loves Alabama and wants them to succeed.
However, she’s no longer weighed down by the intense emotions that came with each game. At the end, she assured fans that her loyalty remains strong with Alabama.
