Kristen Saban and Terry Saban, Nick Saban's family, were at the forefront of the Tide's raucous support during the team's week eight clash against the Tennessee Volunteers at the Bryant-Denny Stadium.

The ever-passionate Kristen Saban documented the moment on her Instagram account when she and her mother joined the Alabama faithful in serenading their team to a stirring second-half comeback win.

She captioned the post,

"For gameday chaos."

The Nick Saban second-half effect strikes again

This season has been a series of rollercoaster emotions for an Alabama fan, but ever since that fateful loss to Texas, the Crimson Tide have shown their mettle more than once.

Nick Saban's team has been behind at half-time in three of the five SEC games they have played this season. The Tide are one of the best second-half teams in college football.

After coming back from a 20-7 half-time deficit against the Tennessee Volunteers in the 'third Saturday of October' clash, Saban even joked about this facet of his team.

“Oh I love it, it’s been great,” Saban said. “The challenges are great, I enjoy coaching this team, that’s not to say that they’re taking years off of my life, but I’m okay with that.”
“But it’s fun, because they’ve got a good spirit about them, we’ve got good relationships on our team,” Saban explained. “I think the players legitimately care about each other, and they respond well to their coaches, so it’s really fun to coach them.”

Saban also explained why his team can't seem to put a full game together and only seems to come alive in isolated pressure moments led by the brilliance of QB Jalen Milroe.

“I don’t think we sometimes show the maturity from a competitive standpoint to do everything on a consistent basis, which is what we keep trying to work toward. But I’ll tell you, eight weeks in a row and the grind that we’ve had the last four or five weeks with the games in our league,” Saban said.
“I think psychologically we probably had a little bit of a tired team out there at the beginning of a game and I think the momentum of the game gave them the energy they needed to play the way they could, the way they’re capable of playing.”

As the Tide heads into a bye week, Saban's focus will already be on the next matchup, a big game against his former team, the LSU Tigers.
