Nick Saban's daughter Kristen Saban gushes over her "favorite little gameday nuggets" 

Former Alabama Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban's daughter Kristen Saban has continued to show her loyalty to the program previously led by coach Kalen DeBoer. This is even after her father unexpectedly retired in January. Kristen has also been supporting her father as he has adapted to his new role as an analyst on ESPN's "College GameDay."

The crew of College GameDay traveled to Baton Rouge for the Week 11 clash pitting the Alabama Crimson Tide against the LSU Tigers. Nick Saban coached both teams and won national championships with them.

On Saturday, Kristen reposted on her Instagram stories a picture of two corgies dressed in the colors of LSU and Alabama, showing her divided loyalty to both programs. She captioned the post:

"My favorite little gameday nuggets," Kristen Saban wrote.

Kristen Saban details the downside of being Nick Saban's daughter

Kristen Saban has been in the limelight for a long time as the daughter of perhaps the most recognizable college football coach in the country. The outspoken Kristen described on an episode of the "Next Round" podcast how difficult being Nick Saban's daughter was, especially with the expectations surrounding her lifestyle.

"I think it was more difficult in college. In high school, I was still kind of figuring it out, but it was just a lot," Kristen said. "I'm still kind of looking back and I don't know why people cared so much what I did or said. But I'm very vocal, so I kind of put myself in positions sometimes but it's scary and it's a lot. People just wanna know everything, and it's kinda weird." (9:30)

Kristen also spoke about how difficult it was for her to make friends. She had to discern whether the people around her were genuine or whether they wanted the perks of being around Saban's daughter.

"Yeah, it took me a while to kind of figure that out and in high school, maybe, my senior year is when I kinda started realizing what people's intentions were," Kristen said. ... "But I kind of figured out who wanted the best for me and who was actually there for me through things that I went through when I was younger. It just kinda sucks at the same time."

Kristen Saban has embraced her role as the daughter of Nick Saban by hyping up Alabama Crimson Tide fans. She is also greatly involved in her father's charity, 'Nick's Kids', which serves the community around Tuscaloosa.
