Kristen Saban shares the incredible impact of her father Nick Saban

Legendary coach Nick Saban announced his retirement on Wednesday night after 17 years with the Alabama Crimson Tide. In a statement released by the university, Saban thanked the Alabama community and said he did not measure his success by wins or losses, but by the impact he had on the lives of young men.

One of those lives is his daughter Kristen Saban, who shared a heartfelt post on Instagram about her father's retirement.

She revealed that 'Nick's Kids', the non-profit organization founded by her parents, has donated nearly $12 million to various charities that serve children in Tuscaloosa and beyond.

She shared that her father's generosity has touched many families. This included 20 who received new homes from 'Habitat for Humanity of Tuscaloosa' in honor of each of Alabama's championships under Saban.

Ellen Potts, the executive director of Habitat for Humanity of Tuscaloosa, said she was sad to see Saban retire, but also grateful for his support over the years.

She said Nick's Kids has already committed to building another house for the 2023 football team, which will be named the LANK house after their motto 'Let All Naysayers Know'.

Nick Saban retired after leading the team to six national championships since 2007. Saban, who never had a losing season in his 17 years at Alabama, is widely regarded as one of the greatest college football coaches of all time.

His daughter, Kristen Saban Setas, who worked for him while studying at the University of Alabama, shared a heartfelt message on Instagram. She expressed her mixed feelings about his decision.

"Bittersweet moment," she wrote. "My phone froze 5 times and shut itself off. My inbox is full (of lovely supportive messages, thank you)."

Kristen has always been a loyal supporter of her father and the Crimson Tide, often defending them on social media from critics and rivals.

Nick Saban's daughter works as an event manager for the Bruno Event Team, a Birmingham-based company that specializes in sports event planning.

She handles public relations, marketing, and social media for the company, which has a strong partnership with the Alabama athletic department.
