Nick Saban's daughter Kristen Saban shares heartwarming snap as she leisurely enjoys GameDay: "We watch PaPaw"

Former Alabama Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban's daughter Kristen Saban has continued her customary game-day attendance at the Bryant-Denny Stadium despite her father retiring unexpectedly in January. She was present during Bama's thrilling week five 41-34 win over coach Kirby Smart's Georgia Bulldogs.

While she was on the set of ESPN's "College GameDay" last weekend alongside her mother Miss Terry who was the guest picker, this weekend, she watched her father who is an analyst on the show from the comfort of her home.

She shared a snap on Instagram watching College GameDay with her son, James. She captioned the post:

"On Saturdays, we watch PaPaw 🏈," Kristen Saban wrote.

In an episode of the "Next Round", Kristen talked about how close her son and her father, the retired Nick Saban are.

"He's (Nick Saban) great with Jamie. I think it's fun for him, because I have a niece. She's 10 years old, and she was the first grandchild and she was a girl, but now that we have James, he's the boy, and my dad can play, you know, T ball with him in the driveway, and throw a ball with him and do kind of all the boy stuff," she said.

"So that's kind of softened him up a little bit, in my opinion. And I think he really, really enjoys it."

Kristen Saban recalls giving birth without Miss Terry

Kristen Saban and her former husband Adam Setas have two children, Amelie and James. During an interview on the "Next Round", Kristen revealed that she gave birth to her son without the presence of her mother, Miss Terry in 2020 because it was during the pandemic in 2020.

"They were just kind of like, looking at me, and then when they pulled James up over the curtain, then we kind of flipped everything. But it's like, you know, if it wasn't the pandemic, my mom and Adam would have been right there, but Adam was there, but it was just kind of sad. Like, when you're a girl and you're having your first baby, you always want your mom there. Usually moms are always in the room for the most part," she said.

"So we asked the hospitals, like, can we FaceTime my family? Like, why you guys are doing this procedure. They're like, yeah. So that was really nice."

Kristen Saban and Adam Setas are now divorced and Nick Saban's daughter has continued to throw herself into initiatives around Tuscaloosa even after her father retired In January.
