Dan Lanning is having a fairytale Big Ten debut campaign with the Oregon Ducks. They have put up an undefeated 12-0 record at the end of the regular season and will be competing for the conference championship in a showdown against Penn State.

In Week 14, Lanning helped his team secure a dominating 49-21 victory over the Washington Huskies. After losing the Pac-12 title game to the Huskies last season, it was a moment of redemption for Lanning. At the end of the first half of that game, the Ducks secured a 28-14 lead over Washington.

In the locker room, Lanning fired up his players with some words of motivation. A video posted on social media also showed him smashing a Washington helmet, indicating that he wants his team to demolish their opponent on the field.

Fans took to social media to share their thoughts on Lanning's fired-up locker room motivation for his players.

One fan pointed out that his actions were hypocritical because of his dig at Coach Prime last year when he said Colorado 'plays for clicks' during his pre-game locker room speech.

"Now who's playing for clicks."
"This is the same guy who invited the media in the locker room talking about not playing for clicks right" a fan said.
"Dan clicks" another fan added.
"For a guy who hates playing for clicks he certainly loves clicks lol." a fan called out Lanning.

A fan said the Huskies continue to trouble Lanning because the Ducks lost to them twice last season.

"Washington lives rent free in his head because they can't beat them when it matters."
"23' big game losses to UW broke him, he's still gonna be throwing husky helmets into the woodchipper when he's 80," another fan stated.

What did Dan Lanning say about Deion Sanders?

Dan Lanning's speech before their game against Colorado last year went viral. He addressed how the Buffs were just craving attention and how their 'Cinderella story' as a team was coming to an end.

"The Cinderella story is over, men. They're fighting for clicks, we're fighting for wins. There's a difference. This game ain't going to be played in Hollywood. It's going to be played on the grass."

Dan Lanning and his team secured a dominating 42-6 victory over Colorado after that pre-game speech. They even participated in the Pac-12 title game in which they lost to the Huskies. On the other hand, Coach Prime could muster a 4-8 campaign in his debut with the Buffs.

However, this season has been a different story for both Lanning and Sanders. The Oregon Ducks are the favorites to take home the natty as undefeated champions while the Buffs put up an impressive 9-3 campaign in their Big 12 reunion campaign and will be competing in the bowl games.
