Ohio entered the game as the favorite and was looking to bounce back from a 30-20 loss to Miami (OH), which dropped their record to 4-3. The Bobcats were 3-4 against the spread and have seen the total go over in four games, including their last two.
Buffalo, on the other hand, entered this matchup with a 4-3 record, seeking to rebound from a home loss to Western Michigan. The Bulls are also 4-3 against the spread, with four games hitting the under, though their last three have gone over the total

Buffalo vs. Ohio Summary
The game started slowly in Athens with only a field goal recorded in the first quarter. Ohio opened the scoring with just 1:38 left on the clock as Gianni Spetic hit the target from 23 yards.
The second quarter was more lively as Buffalo got its scoring underway with a rushing touchdown. Messiah Burch rushed 27 yards to the endzone with 12:47 left on the clock.
The Bobcats scored their own first touchdown of the encounter and retook the lead some minutes later. Running back Ricky Hunt Jr. rushed 46 yards to the endzone with 8:21 left.
Ohio extended the lead with a passing touchdown midway through the second quarter. Parker Navarro found Coleman Owen from 65 yards with 6:12 left on the clock.
The eventful second quarter saw Buffalo respond with a field goal to close the margin a little. Upton Bellenfant hit the target from 40 yards with 3:23 left before halftime.
However, Parker Navarro orchestrated another passing touchdown just before halftime to widen Ohio’s lead. He once again found Coleman Owen in the endzone with 1:03 left on the clock.
Ohio continued scoring in the second half as Nolan McCormick scored a rushing touchdown halfway through the third quarter. The running back ran to the end zone from the two-yard line with 6:19 left.
Buffalo scored its first passing touchdown of the game with 2:38 left in the third quarter of the game. CJ. Ogbonna found Victor Snow with a pass from 21 yards to once again close the margin.
The Bulls attempted a two-point conversion after their touchdown but failed. This was returned by the Bobcats defense and converted by Kadin Schmitz.
Coleman Owen scored a 22-yard touchdown run with 12:15 left in the fourth quarter while Shay Taylor rounded up the scoring with interceptions that were returned for 30 yards to the endzone.0 yards for a touchdown with 11:58 left.
