The Ohio Bobcats will travel three hours up the road to Kent to take on the Kent State Golden Flashes in a Week 11 Mid-Atlantic Conference showdown on Wednesday.
Ohio is in the mix in the MAC race, with a 3-1 conference record to complement a 5-3 mark through eight games. The Bobcats are coming off a dominant 47-16 over Buffalo their last time out and are searching for bowl eligibility for the third straight season.
Kent State is searching for its first win of the season, with an 0-8 record so far. The Golden Flashes remain the only winless team in the MAC in Week 10. Injuries have plagued Kent State throughout their 2024 campaign and continue to be a concern entering this week.

After forcing a punt, Ohio marched down the field to put a field goal on the board and take a 3-0 lead after an 11-play, 49-yard drive. The Bobcats followed it up with a five-play, 61-yard drive capped off by a touchdown to take a 10-0 lead with five minutes left in the opening quarter.
After an exchange of punts, the Bobcats forced an interception and capitalized with a second field goal to take a 13-0 lead with 12 minutes remaining in the second quarter. Ohio held Kent State to a fourth punting situation and capitalized with a second touchdown drive to take a 20-0 lead into the locker rooms at halftime.
Ohio’s dominance carried into the second half, as the Bobcats opened the third quarter with a kickoff return touchdown to take a 27-0 lead. Their special teams showed out yet again, with a punt return touchdown to take a 34-0 lead with seven minutes remaining in the third quarter.
The Bobcats forced two-straight punts on Kent State’s next two drives, capitalizing with a six-play, 79-yard drive capped off by a Bryce Butler touchdown reception, extending Ohio’s lead to 41-0 to start the fourth quarter. Ohio held the Golden Flashes scoreless for the remainder of the fourth quarter to hold on for a 41-0 win
