Toledo scored the lone points of the first half with a seven-play, 50-yard touchdown drive capped off by a 23-yard touchdown pass from Tucker Gleason to Anthony Torres to give the Rockets a 7-0 lead entering the locker rooms at halftime.

The Bobcats scored the lone points of the third quarter, capping off a six-play, 45-yard drive with a rushing touchdown from Parker Navarro after a Toledo fumble. Ohio opened up a 7-7 tie with 17 unanswered points in the fourth quarter. The Bobcats capped off a 12-play, 53-yard drive with a short rushing touchdown from Parker Navarro, taking a 14-7 lead moments into the final period.

After forcing a punt, Ohio marched 60 yards in eight plays to extend their lead to 21-7 following an Anthony Tyus III touchdown on the ground. The Bobcats got another stop forcing a turnover on downs and capitalized with a 24-yard field goal to clinch a 24-7 win.
