College football analyst Paul Finebaum took aim at Colorado Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders for the coach's behavior at a press conference.

Sanders took aim at reporters for criticizing him and said he wouldn't be taking their questions. Sanders, who has a net worth of $45 million according to Celebrity Net Worth, has been known to speak his mind. However, ESPN's Finebaum wasn't pleased with what Sanders did at the press conference:

"I'm surprised we didn't have an entire two-hour show completely praising Coach Prime for completely dumping on the local media. The media that shows up everyday to his practices, to support him.
"We don't have enough time, so I won't bother talking about how disgraceful it was and what a terrible look, I'll save that for Matt Berry's podcast."

Finebaum was not happy with Sanders and the way he treated reporters who questioned some of his decisions.

The specifics of why Sanders wouldn't take questions from CBS or The Denver Post are uncertain, but the coach made it clear that he wasn't going to give them the time of his day, which left many frustrated.

Deion Sanders opens up on controversial press conference

After many fans and analysts were critical of Deion Sanders for the way he acted at the press conference, he shared his take on X by requoting a post that seemed to explain the real reason behind his decision.

"Thank u my brother for keeping some things unspoken. We love it when they ASSume. Lolololol The insanity is better than Sanford & Son at times. Keep up the outstanding Reporting and keeping it. Relationships in this business is everything. God bless my brother," Sanders wrote.

Deion Sanders is about to start his second season as the coach of Colorado. He was the talk of college football after starting 3-0 last season but then went 1-8 down the stretch to finish 4-8.

Entering 2024, Colorado is now in the Big 12 and the big question for the Buffaloes is whether or not they will be bowl eligible.

Colorado opens its 2024 college football season on Aug. 29 against North Dakota State. The Buffaloes also have notable games against Nebraska, Baylor, Kansas State, Arizona, Utah, Kansas and Oklahoma State.
