Deion Sanders, coach of the Colorado Buffaloes, welcomed an extra special birthday gift this year. On Aug. 9, his daughter, Deiondra, gave birth to a baby boy, Baby Que, making Sanders a proud grandfather.

Baby Que arrived weighing 6 lbs, 13 oz, and measuring 18 inches long — born on the same day as Sanders’ birthday.

Coach Prime shared the joyful news during a press conference, embracing his new role as "Papa Prime."

Baby Que’s father, R&B star Jacquees, recently posted on Instagram, offering fans a sneak peek of the newborn. Though Baby Que’s face remains hidden, fans got a glimpse of his stylish Gucci outfit, complete with a cap and tiny shoes.

One touching photo even featured the baby with a Holy Bible.

Jacquees also revealed their son's name and celebrated the occasion by getting it tattooed on his face, along with Baby Que’s name and footprint on his chest, last month.

Deiondra, the eldest of Deion Sanders’ five children, had previously called her pregnancy a "miracle" after being diagnosed with seven fibroids, making it a high-risk journey.

In April, Deion Sanders shared that he’s still adjusting to the idea of becoming a first-time grandpa, following the news of his daughter’s pregnancy. Although thrilled, he admitted that the reality of this new chapter hadn’t fully hit him yet.

"I haven't digested that whole thing yet," Sanders said [H/t PEOPLE].

"I'm proud of my baby that she's at least waited until her 30s to give me this gift of life," he added. "I'm happy about that, but I want to make sure she's straight emotionally and psychologically as well."

His daughter, Deiondra, had previously announced her pregnancy on Instagram, expressing that it was "not planned nor expected."

Despite the unexpected nature of the news, Coach Prime offered words of support, and commented on her post in March:

"PREACH BABY PREACH, and u having this baby to make me a darn GRANDDADDY even though I'm YOUNG!" Sanders wrote. "I Love u baby and I'm glad u said u ain't having a baby to keep a man. You've always had a MAN in your life that u call DADDY & ain't gon ever ever let u DOWN especially when I'm UP."

Deion Sanders' words of love feel genuine for this new chapter, despite the whirlwind of emotions.
