Lane Kiffin has transformed the Rebels, leading them to back-to-back 11-win seasons. However, he was leaning towards taking the Auburn Tigers job back in 2022. According to an ESPN report by analyst Chris Lowe, he was all set to depart Ole Miss when his daughter Landry Kiffin asked him to consider staying back in Oxford.

"Kiffin's oldest daughter, Landry, is a sophomore at Ole Miss. She moved to Oxford from Los Angeles prior to her senior year of high school to be with her father. In fact, had it not been for Landry, her dad might be coaching at Auburn right now. Kiffin was leaning toward taking the Auburn job toward the end of the 2022 season when Landry came to him with a heartfelt message," Low wrote.

According to the ESPN report, Landry Kiffin and her friends even came up with a well-documented slideshow to convince her father why the family should all stay in Oxford.

"You left me one time for another job when you went to Alabama, and now I'm here with you and you're going to do it again?" Landry asked Lane Kiffin.

Landry is the charismatic coach's firstborn daughter with ex-wife Layla. She has two younger siblings, a sister, Presley, and a brother, Knox. Landry joined Ole Miss last year which might have also contributed to her father's extended stay in Oxford.

The Rebels coach has regularly appeared in his daughter's TikTok videos where she has a substantial following.

Lane Kiffin has been linked to the lucrative Florida Gators job to replace coach Billy Napier. With speculation about the situation picking up steam in recent weeks, it remains to be seen whether Landry Kiffin can convince her father to remain at Ole Miss once again.
