Several college quarterbacks are currently participating in the 2024 Manning Passing Academy. Among those quarterbacks is 2x Super Bowl champ Peyton Manning's nephew, Arch Manning. Coming out of Isidore Newman School, Arch committed to play for Steve Sarkisian's team in June 2022.

Last season, Arch Manning was the third-string quarterback for the Longhorns, behind Quinn Ewers and Maalik Murphy. As he gears up for the 2024 season, as Ewers' backup, following Murphy's transfer to Duke, he is using Manning Passing Academy to learn from several veteran quarterbacks.

In a post shared on social media, we see Arch Manning sharing a moment with former Texas QB Hudson Card. We see both of them share a light-hearted moment with each other as they continue their preparations for the upcoming 2024 season.

Hudson Card began his collegiate career with Texas as a true freshman back in 2020. He spent three seasons under Steve Sarkisian before deciding to transfer to Purdue in 2023.

Last season, Hudson Card helped the Purdue Boilermakers finish with a 4-8 overall campaign as they failed to qualify for the Bowl games. He recorded a total of 2,837 passing yards and 15 touchdowns along with eight interceptions.

Arch Manning opens up about his decision to not transfer from Texas

Given his last name, there is a lot of hype surrounding Arch's collegiate career. After seeing limited time on the field as a third-string quarterback last season, many fans expected him to transfer from the Longhorns.

However, he decided to stay in the program and continue developing his skills under Steve Sarkisian and his coaching staff. At the Manning Passing Academy, he revealed the factors that influenced his decision to stay back.

The young quarterback stated that he likes the program and is ready to be 'patient' to have his chance to shine on the field.

"I like the coaching staff. I like the people in the building and it takes a while. As a quarterback, you try to make an impact where you are. It takes a while to learn everyone's name and learn the trainer's name and all the staff," Arch said.
"So I didn't want to have to go somewhere else and redo that. I like the situation I'm in. Sometimes you got to stay patient and stay ready for your turn. I'm happy where I am. I can't wait to stay there for more years and win some games." (0:10)

It will be interesting to see if Arch Manning gets a significant increase in his playing time and gets his moment to shine on the field.
