New North Carolina Tar Heels coach Bill Belichick has hit the ground running, making the best of the short transfer portal window that closed on Dec. 28 to bolster the roster that finished the 2024 season 6-7. The former New England Patriots coach has arrived in Chapel Hill to heightened expectations after his legendary NFL career.

Off the gridiron, on Wednesday, Belichick's girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, showed her support for North Carolina with an Instagram post of herself decorating a Tar Heels hoodie with rhinestones and rubies.

She captioned the post:

"I found a few moments to R,R&R (Rhinestone, Reflect & Relax) on this fine first day of ‘twenty-five. 💎🩵," Hudson wrote.

Jordon Hudson reveals Bill Belichick relationship timeline

Bill Belichick started dating Jordon Hudson in 2021 after splitting from his longtime girlfriend, Linda Holliday. After making her debut with the new North Carolina Tar Heels coach on the red carpet of the American Museum of Natural History Gala on Dec. 5, Hudson confirmed the timeline of their relationship with an Instagram post on her stories on New Year's Eve, which she captioned:

"Cheers!!! To our third midnight's kiss," Jordon Hudson wrote. "Nothing changed for us in 2024 except for 'public knowledge': yet, somehow everything changed. 4th calendar year; Going strong. "I can't wait to take punches for you in 2025. Keep swinging, Keyboard Warriors. Your illusion of righteousness only fuels my authenticity."

Despite Bill Belichick taking a new job as coach of the North Carolina Tar Heels, according to a People source, the couple's highly publicized relationship will proceed despite the couple's busy careers.

“Bill will put his all into the new coaching job which he is very excited about,” the source said. “But Jordon is also a busy woman with a lot going on. So I don’t see this doing anything but enhancing their solid relationship. Bill is not in a rush to marry again at this time.

"Now that he will be coaching that is at the top of his list. He needed to get back to work. He has an above ideal situation for his experience and personality.”

Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson met in 2021 when she was a cheerleader at Bridgewater State University, and according to People, she joined the East Celebrity Elite cheer squad in February 2024 to continue her cheerleading career, which has become even more prominent after she started dating the North Carolina coach.
