Carson Beck led the then-No. 11 Georgia to a season-saving victory on Saturday against the then-No. 6 Tennessee. The Bulldogs entered the game at risk of missing out on a spot in the College Football Playoff but came out with a 31-17 win at the Sanford Stadium in Athens.

It was a redemption game for Beck against the Volunteers. The quarterback has been under fire for the past couple of weeks for his below-par performances. However, he was pivotal to the Bulldogs' latest victory, ensuring their season remains on track.

On Wednesday, Beck shared a host of victorious moment pictures during the Tennessee game on Instagram. He captioned it with a “folded hand” emoji, expressing gratitude for the support from fans. Have a look at the post below:

Carson Beck proud of Georgia’s victory over Tennessee

Georgia’s Week 12 victory over Tennessee was an important one, as it helped rebuild the team's momentum. Following the game, Carson Beck expressed his excitement at the way the Bulldogs responded to the setback brought about by the loss to Ole Miss.

“The way we were able to bounce back from last week, I'm just so proud of these guys,” Beck said.
“The word that really identifies us is resilient. We stay so composed in high-pressure moments. Although it might not look perfect, it might not look pretty, we're gonna get the job done.”

Beck completed 25-of-40 for 347 yards and two touchdowns at the Sanford Stadium on Saturday. He also rushed for 32 yards and a touchdown in three carries to help claim the win.

Analyst believes Georgia never had a Carson Beck problem

Georgia’s poor outing this season has been widely blamed on Beck. His performance has been singled out as the cause of the team playing below standard. However, Joel Klatt doesn't see the quarterback as the problem.

“I thought that this week for Georgia was the first time that you got to see dominant defense and quality, efficient offense put together into one game,” Klatt said on The Joel Klatt Show.
“I didn't think that Georgia had a Carson Beck issue. That was kind of the narrative swirling around Georgia. I didn't think it was Beck... Carson Beck is fine. He's fine. When his team decided to play to his level, they were pretty dominant.”

Georgia is scheduled to face UMass and Georgia Tech in its remaining two games of the regular season. The Bulldogs will be counting on Beck's brilliance to win both games, ensuring a spot in the playoffs.
