Colorado coach Deion Sander's ex-wife Pilar Sanders was in attendance as the Buffaloes closed out the regular season in style as they crushed the Oklahoma State Cowboys 52-0 in Week 14. She was part of a viral clip of Coach Prime seemingly swerving to avoid her after walking Shilo and Shedeur Sanders out for their Senior Day ceremony.

College football fans on X had mixed reactions to the clip of Pilar and Deion Sanders.

"Mf ran for someone with 9 toes that’s wicked bro ass hit the dash 😭😭😭💨💨💨" one fan commented.

Some fans referenced the pair's tense relationship after their divorce in 2013.

"If you watched their reality show years back, Pilar put him through the wringer…she was a wild one," one fan tweeted.

"I don't blame him you don't wanna be around that weird energy," another fan tweeted.

"He still hate Pilar," one fan tweeted.

Deion Sander's divorce from Pilar Sanders was messy

Deion Sanders married Pilar Sanders in 1999 after parting ways with his ex-wife, Carolyn Chambers the previous year. The marriage lasted until the pair's bitter divorce in 2013 which was plastered on all the tabloids even involving their kids taking sides.

Pilar's lawyer, Larry Friedman revealed to TMZ the surprising manner that his client found out about her impending divorce from Deion Sanders.

"Heartbroken and surprised when [she] read ... that Deion announced his decision, on his own, to end their marriage," Friedman said in Dec. 2011. "Pilar's sole focus and top priority for the last 12.5 years has been her marriage and children. Based on recent discoveries, [Pilar] now realizes that Deion did not view their family the same way."

When the divorce proceedings began in 2011, the Colorado coach was awarded full custody of their three children (Shilo, Shedeur and Shelomi) while Pilar got visitation rights.

During one such occasion, Pilar Sanders refused to return the children to the custody of their father and alleged that he had punched and kicked one of his kids which led to a defamation suit being leveled against her.

During the trial, Pilar was hit with a seven-day jail term for contempt of the court and was finally ordered to pay Coach Prime $1 million in damages.

During a 2022 appearance on the "Second Shot" podcast, Pilar Sanders revealed how she dealt with her messy divorce.

"Unfortunately it was public and it was made very public," Pilar said. "Again, I'm very private. Well, I didn't have a mic, so a lot of things, untruths made it to the media and it's not like I had a way to fight back publicly, nor did I really want to.

"Because my focus was my and their safety, their mental health, their wellbeing and of course, my mental health and wellbeing because being married for 13 years, you're focused on your husband."

Since their tense divorce, Deion Sanders and Pilar Sanders have co-parented their three children. Pilar has supported them from the stands at almost every Colorado game this season.
