The LSU Tigers' wide receiver room will have a different look in 2024. While Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Jayden Daniels was selected second overall in the 2024 NFL Draft by the Washington Commanders, his top two targets also came off the board on the first day of the draft. The New York Giants made Malik Nabers the sixth overall pick while Brian Thomas Jr. landed with the Jacksonville Jaguars at 23rd overall.

Predicting 3 LSU Tigers WR's stats for 2024 college football season
#1: Kyren Lacy
Kyren Lacy initially joined the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns as a four-star prospect in the 2020 recruiting class. In four seasons at the collegiate level, he has recorded 1,494 receiving yards and 17 touchdowns on 104 receptions. He joined the LSU Tigers via the transfer portal ahead of the 2022 season and saw his role significantly increase last season.
Lacy finished as the Tigers' third-leading receiver, recording 558 yards and seven touchdowns on 30 receptions - all career-highs. With Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr. now in the NFL, look for his production to increase significantly. Look for him to bring in 67 receptions for 1,079 yards and ten touchdowns.
#2: CJ Daniels
CJ Daniels initially joined the Liberty Flames as a two-star prospect in the 2020 recruiting class. He has recorded 106 receptions for 1,959 yards and 21 touchdowns in four seasons. He will join the LSU Tigers via the transfer portal coming off of his best season in which he caught 55 passes for 1,067 yards and ten touchdowns.
Daniels' production may take a step back as he faces the much tougher defenses in the SEC. Look for him to finish with 51 receptions, 832 yards and nine touchdowns.
#3: Chris Hilton Jr.
Chris Hilton Jr. joined the LSU Tigers as a four-star prospect in the 2021 recruiting class. He has recorded 415 career receiving yards and three touchdowns on 22 receptions. A torn ACL in 2022 provided him with a setback in his collegiate career, however, he had the best year of his career last season, recording 13 receptions for 225 yards and two touchdowns.
Look for Hilton Jr. to have a breakout season now that he is another year removed from the injury and expected to receive far more playing time. Expect him to record 37 catches for 620 yards and six touchdowns.
