The Boilermakers have had one player selected in every draft since 2020. The opportunity to keep that streak going next year went out the door after pass rusher Nic Scourton and tight end Garrett Miller both transferred to Texas A&M. There is a chance Purdue is on the outside looking in next April.
Purdue Boilermakers' NFL Draft 2025 Preview
Quarterback Hudson Card will be an interesting prospect to watch. The Texas transfer looks like a small, weak-armed passer, yet he shows the ability to make all the passes, getting the ball down the field or zipping the outs.
He also looks like a running back carrying the ball, creating yardage and making defenders miss. I could envision Card receiving a combine invitation and standing out in a postseason All-Star game such as the Shrine or Senior Bowl.
Kydran Jenkins
Linebacker Kydran Jenkins is the one player that could slide into the late rounds. He has next-level speed and shows a lot of ability in pursuit, but he must improve and complete his game.
Gus Hartwig
Gus Hartwig is a center prospect I’ve liked for a long time. He’s not the most athletic or dominant, yet he’s tough, smart, and fundamentally sound. I don’t believe Hartwig will be drafted, yet he will have a place on a Sunday roster as a backup.
