Deion Sanders' future has been a huge talking point this season. With both of his sons, quarterback Shedeur Sanders and safety Shilo Sanders, set to leave the Colorado Buffaloes for the NFL, some believe Coach Prime is also on the way out. However, he has said several times that he is happy in Colorado and wants to stay.

Jason Whitlock posted a YouTube video on Tuesday speaking about Sanders' future. He thinks the coach will stay but has inside information that he might be on the way out.

"It appears to me that Deion plans to stay but this person is close enough to the program that I have to sit back and go, hold on maybe I'm just reading this all wrong," Whitlock said (starts at 8:30).
"Deion to me has always been all about, "I'm really just doing this for Shedeur and Shilo, that I'm coaching in Colorado, you know I got into coaching to develop my kids." Now that he's done that, what purpose does sticking at Colorado serve?"
"Does Deion position himself to be a candidate for an NFL job potentially? He's certainly probably a candidate for a larger power four type school," Whitlock added. "I could see Deion jumping someplace else and that's what the source says that Deion could be ready to hit the eject button on Colorado. If he does, would it have been worth it? That's the question I'd like to ask Colorado fans."

What NFL teams have expressed interest in hiring Deion Sanders?

Coach Prime has played a role in the Buffaloes' recruiting of some high-profile players. However, that will likely not stop NFL teams from trying to recruit him to their teams in the off-season.

ESPN Jeremy Fowler reported mid-December that a few teams are interested in Deion Sanders in this hiring cycle. He reportedly received a message from a league source that NFL teams want to hear what he has to say. He mentioned the New York Jets and New Orleans Saints as possible suitors.

Additionally, there are rumors that Coach Prime could go to the New York Giants or Las Vegas Raiders, especially if one of them drafts Shedeur Sanders. Both are in need of a young quarterback.
