Georgia head coach Kirby Smart heaps praise on his team for their victory amid the criticisms and doubters

After the game, Kirby Smart spoke with ESPN's Katie George. He talked about how his team was motivated as they were considered the underdogs against the Longhorns. Smart also praised his players for their incredible performance on the field and for making a statement.

"I'm so proud of these guys, because nobody believed. Nobody gave us a chance. Your whole network doubted us. Nobody believed in us. Then they tried to rob us with calls in this place. And these guys are so resilient, you know?" Smart said.

"I'm not interested in the bells and whistles. What I want is a team that fights their a** off and they did tonight."

Georgia will enter an open week after which they will go against the Florida Gators. It will be interesting to see if they can go on to become the national champions this season.
