Deion Sanders Jr. and Shedeur Sanders had a few jokes with their father, Coach Prime, during their trip from Colorado to San Antonio. The two brothers shared a hearty laugh about Deion flying in a custom Rolls Royce jet for the first time.
In a YouTube video uploaded by "Walk Off Media" on Monday, Deion Jr. asked Shedeur whether their dad ever flew on a custom plane, just before the flight took off to Texas.
"Yeah," Shedeur said [5:21]. "Yeah, remember when we went to Paris on this? He (Deion) been alive for 50-something years and you know, this is his first rodeo, man."
While joking about his father, Shedeur referred to his trip to Paris in January. The CU quarterback and his elder brother Shilo had traveled to the French capital to walk the runway for LV's Men's Fall-Winter 2024.
This time, Shedeur and some of his family members made the trip to San Antonio on a stylish airplane. Colorado's athletic director Rick George arranged their special travel for the Alamo Bowl game.
Although Deion Jr. is not part of the Colorado team, he has been promoting the team on social media. He also gives fans behind-the-scenes footage and access to some key moments of the Buffs' program.
Shedeur Sanders is likely to play his final game for Colorado in Alamo Bowl
Shedeur Sanders is expected to play his final game for Colorado in the Alamo Bowl against BYU on Saturday. The quarterback is then set to declare for the 2025 NFL Draft.
Shedeur is widely regarded as an early first-round pick and the CU signal-caller will want to boost his draft stock even further in the bowl game.
During the regular season, Shedeur recorded 3,926 passing yards, 35 passing touchdowns, eight interceptions, and four rushing touchdowns. He led the Buffs to a 9-3 record as Colorado narrowly missed out on a spot in the College Football Playoff.
