Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders had a hilarious argument with his teammate Travis Hunter in a practice session, only days after the two-way star was crowned the Heisman winner. In a video uploaded by Well Off Media on Monday, Shedeur grabbed Hunter's shirt in training, urging the latter to show more respect for the signal-caller's passing ability. [Timestamp: 9:35]
"Hold on, bro. I got some hardware, too," Shedeur said. "Respect my golden arm."
Hunter and Sanders appeared to be discussing the individual honors they won this season before things escalated. However, they quickly made up after their brief argument.
Sanders was named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year and he also won the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award. He finished the regular season with 3,926 passing yards, 35 touchdowns and eight interceptions, while also rushing for four touchdowns.
However, Hunter won eight awards in total, including the coveted Heisman Trophy. Hunter's excellent displays in Colorado's defense and offense boosted his chances of winning the Heisman.
Hunter finished the regular season with 31 tackles, 11 passes deflected, four interceptions and one forced fumble as a defensive back. He also had Sanders to thank as he posted 1,152 yards and 14 touchdowns on 92 catches as a receiver.
