Kristen Saban engaged in some social media sparring, taking a swipe at Kelly Stafford, the wife of Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford. The exchange stemmed from Kelly's comments involving the coverage of pop star Taylor Swift and her relationship with NFL player Travis Kelce.
In a now-deleted tweet Kristen wrote,
"Kelly I really do like you, but respectfully, stfu."
This retort came after Kelly expressed frustration with the media attention surrounding Swift and Kelce, saying on the "Morning After" podcast:
“I don't know if I want to see another four months of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce coverage.”
Like Kristen, Kelly herself is known for her candid remarks. The tension between Kelly Stafford and Kristen Saban escalated over Swift's new album release, "The Tortured Poets Department," which coincided with a video documenting Matthew Stafford's emotional decision to return to the NFL for the 2024 season.
Swift and Kelce's relationship has continued to garner attention since the duo started dating in September 2023.

Kristen Saban can't control emotions after Taylor Swift's latest album
Nick Saban’s daughter couldn't contain her excitement following the release of Taylor Swift's latest album. Posting on Instagram, the 28-year-old expressed her emotions in response to Swift's new drop, which has captivated Swifties worldwide.
The Swiftie community came up with all sorts of speculations as they deep-dived into the meaning and inspiration of the album, with many believing that it ended a difficult chapter in Swift's life.
For Kristen, however, the album brought forth a mix of emotions. In an IG post, Saban’s daughter shared her apprehension, addressing Taylor Swift directly, stating,
"@Taylorswift we’re all scared now girl."
One particular song on the album, "The Alchemy," caught Kristen's attention. She speculated whether it could be interpreted as a love song dedicated to Kansas City Chiefs tight end, Travis Kelce.
“Did we just get our first love song about Travis on The Alchemy!?!?! #TSTTPD.”
The track's lyrics which the fans were most sure about being directed at Travis Kelce had references to football and winning streaks. However, some lyrics made man rule out that possibility, surmising the song was about someone else.
