When Shedeur Sanders attended the Big 12 media, he appeared confident in himself and the Colorado Buffaloes' revamped team. While he answered numerous questions, he compared the team to a primetime matchup of the Super Bowl.

"I know we're everybody's Super Bowl, so I always stay level-headed and stay grounded because I would never want to be that guy looking back and not being able to take advantage of the moment that we have right now," Shedeur Sanders said.

Many found the analogy to be interesting, but some critics were not happy with his statement.

Despite that, former NFL star Robert Griffin III defended Shedeur Sanders and said that everybody surely wants to see the Buffs play against other teams.

"Colorado is everybody's Superbowl because all eyes are on them. People do know Deion. But it's also because he is a great Coach and a HoF Corner. What he is doing in the portal is bringing in like-minded players"

Deion Sanders' aim is to protect Shedeur Sanders in the upcoming CFB season

The Colorado Buffaloes want to get out of their woeful 4-8 record from last year. They ended up in last place in the Pac-12 Conference. The head coach of the Buffaloes has changed his strategy and decided to save the QB of the team.

"We got to protect that quarterback," Sanders said, as per ESPN. "That's No. 1."

After his son became the most sacked quarterback in the country, he decided to revamp the offensive line and hire a new line coach, ex-NFL offensive lineman Phil Loadholt.

"What makes it easy to connect with offensive line? Having the best darn quarterback in college football," Sanders said. "Who don't want to come and block for the best quarterback in college football? You got to be a fool if you say, 'I don't want to be seen.'"

The team added six offensive linemen from the transfer portal. Coach Prime has planned on winning games in the upcoming college football season. The Colorado Buffaloes will play against North Dakota State on August 29. Just like last season, fans and critics will have their eyes on the game.
