Ryan Williams is a huge talent. That has always been evident. Following a series of brilliant performances during Alabama's non-conference schedule, the former five-star recruit announced himself to the SEC world on Saturday in his first conference for the Crimson Tide against Georgia.

Alabama found itself in a surprising position despite holding a commanding 28-0 lead in the first quarter. Georgia mounted an incredible comeback, with Carson Beck leading the charge. The Bulldogs took a 34-33 lead in the closing stages of the game.

However, Ryan Williams came to the rescue just 13 seconds after Georgia took the lead in Tuscaloosa. Jalen Milroe connected with Williams in a one-on-one matchup down the sideline. The wide receiver secured the catch and displayed remarkable agility, dodging multiple Georgia defenders on his way to a 75-yard touchdown.

Williams’ performance in the thrilling SEC game caught the attention of millions of college football fans. The freshman’s outing left many dumbfounded and led several others to sing his praise. Here’s a look at some of the reactions to his performance online.

"Ryan Williams is a freak. What an unreal catch," one fan said.
"Ryan Williams is Insane!!!" another fan added.
"THIS KID IS SPECIAL," one fan wrote in all caps.

Other reactions to his performance online:

"Ryan Williams is 17 years old. He can’t vote. He can’t buy a lottery ticket. He can’t apply for a credit card. But he can do this:" a fan wrote.
"I have watched the clip of this Ryan Williams catch at least 45 times since it happened and I now will continue to watch it about 45 more times," another fan wrote.
"One of the wildest plays I've ever seen in college sports and the kid is 17 years old," a fan commented.

Williams finished with six catches for 177 yards and a touchdown as his heroics helped Alabama escape with a 41-34 win.

Kalen DeBoer discloses what impresses him about Ryan Williams

Ahead of the game against Georgia, Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer disclosed what has impressed him about Ryan Williams following his performances in the team's first three games.

During his appearance on 'The Pat McAfee Show' on Friday, DeBoer praised Williams with a sense of awe and admiration. Acknowledging the young athlete's remarkable abilities, DeBoer emphasized just how extraordinary Williams' accomplishments have been. (Start at 1:19:24)

“You can just see the mindset he has and how impressive it is considering his age and the experiences or lack of experiences that he’s been through," DeBoer said. "He’s made the plays.”
“It’s fun to talk about him because he is a team guy. He just got a lot of pride in who he is. He’s got a great way about him. The team just respects him so much because of how he’s handled all the attention already that he’s getting.”
