Ryan Williams NIL value: Alabama’s young gun gains over $750k in value following thrilling win against Georgia

Ryan Williams is quickly becoming a star player for the Alabama Crimson Tide. On Saturday, Williams has a strong performance against the Georgia Bulldogs. In front of a packed Bryant Denny Stadium, the young wide receiver racked up 177 receiving yards and a touchdown in the Crimson Tide's victory.

This performance has had a big impact on Williams' NIL value. Per On3, his NIL value was $732,000 before the game. After the game, it jumped to $1.5 million, an increase of 768,000.

According to On3's NIL Top 100 rankings, Williams has the 14th-highest NIL valuation and 12th in college football.

One of the main reasons for this massive boost relates to the touchdown he scored. This occurred late in the game when Alabama was behind the Bulldogs. Williams spun in the air to catch a pass from Crimson Tide quarterback Jalen Milroe before passing two Bulldogs defenders to record a 75-yard winning touchdown.

After the game, Williams spoke about his play, and specifically, the spin he did.

"I was like 'I can't get tackled,' so I did a spin move," Williams told the media. "It was like slow motion."

Ryan Williams' freshman season is already impressive. He has recorded 462 yards and scored five touchdowns in four games.

These performances will not only help him develop as a player, but they will bring him a lot of attention from the media and companies.

On Monday, Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer offered Williams some advice on how to manage this increased attention.

Just educating him and understanding, both on the field while he’s doing his thing and away from it just the impact he has is seen," DeBoer said. "The influence he has is great, and just how to manage all of that, so it’s just a process. ... We try to do a really good job with that and there’s a lot going on and every little thing is picked up on, especially these days."

Ryan Williams is young, and it is unlikely that he would have experienced this level of attention before.

However, with a little bit of education on how to cope with this and how to increase the following (as DeBoer and the Alabama program will help him do on and off the field), he has the potential to be the next big star of college football.
