The SEC media days are upon us. At this event, college football fans will be able to hear from all of the conference head coaches as they prepare for the 2024 season.
The Southeastern Conference (SEC) is highly successful in college football and includes teams such as the Georgia Bulldogs and the Alabama Crimson Tide. Recently, the conference has expanded to include the Texas Longhorns and the Oklahoma Sooners.
Where is the 2024 SEC media day being held?
The 2024 SEC media day is being held at the Omni Hotel in Dallas, Texas.
Traditionally, the media days were always held in Birmingham, Alabama, and the change of location this year means that it will be only the fourth time in history that the SEC Media Day will not be held in Birmingham.
When is the 2024 SEC Media Day, and when is each coach talking to the media?
The 2024 SEC media day will be held between Monday 15th July and Thursday 18th July. Each coach will have a slot to speak to the media.
Monday begins with Brian Kelly and the LSU Tigers at 11 am ET and is then followed by the coaches of the Ole Miss Rebels and South Carolina Gamecocks and the first day finishes with the Vanderbilt Commodores.
Tuesday begins at 10 p.m. ET with the Georgia Bulldogs and their head coach, Kirby Smart. The Bulldogs will then be followed by the Tennessee Volunteers, the Oklahoma Sooners and the Missouri Tigers.
Wednesday opens with the widely anticipated debut of new Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer, who will start speaking at 10 a.m. This will be followed by the Mississippi State Bulldogs and then by the Florida Gators. Day three finishes with Texas Longhorns head coach Steve Sarkisian.
The final day opens with the Arkansas Razorbacks at 10:30 ET, and the program is followed by the Texas A&M Aggies and Auburn Tigers. It will be the Kentucky Wildcats who will be the last team to talk during these four days.
