Shedeur Sanders has been linked with a move to the Tennessee Titans after some of their fans urged the team to draft the Colorado quarterback. During Sunday's Week 18 game between the Titans and Houston Texans, the broadcast showed a group of Tennessee fans wearing brown paper bags on their heads to protest the team's struggles.
One fan also had a bag that featured a cutout of Sanders taped on the front.
Sanders caught a view of the incident which was posted by ESPN's "SportsCenter" on Instagram, and it prompted a response from the CU signal-caller.
"Legendary," Sanders commented on the IG post.
The Titans finished the 2024 season at the bottom of the AFC South with a dismal 3-14 record. However, they will get the top pick in the 2025 NFL draft.
Some Tennessee fans have signaled that they want a new quarterback in this year's draft. Sanders, who has caught the eye of many, has now been linked with the Titans' pick. However, reports suggest Tennessee is also monitoring Miami quarterback Cam Ward, who was a Heisman finalist this season.
If the Titans are serious about a rebuild, they can't afford to blunder with their No. 1 pick.
