Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders and Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter are gearing up for one last game together—and Sanders couldn’t be more thankful.

On Monday, “The Travis Hunter Show” Instagram page shared a photo and video of the dynamic duo discussing their final outing in a Colorado jersey at the Valero Alamo Bowl on Dec. 28, where they’ll face the BYU Cougars.

In the video, an excited Hunter asked Sanders about playing one more college game together.

“At least we get to play one more game in college,” Hunter said.

Sanders responded passionately, highlighting how rare this moment is for college stars who often skip bowl games.

“You know how many players would sit out in a bowl game?” Sanders said. “You gonna miss players like LaJohntay Wester, Will [William Miles Sheppard], You [Hunter], Me. Jimmy [Horn Jr.], couple of O-linemen, and the rest is on defense.
“So I'll just be thankful I'm able to at least, one more time, just us all being in a Buffs uniform.”

Hunter, who’s a top prospect for the upcoming NFL draft, shared similar feelings.

“I'm thankful being able to play another game, boy,” Hunter said. “I don't think I could went a whole another month without playing football.”

The 32nd annual Valero Alamo Bowl will see No. 23 Colorado square off against No. 17 BYU. With Sanders fresh off winning the 2024 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award and Hunter as the 2024 Heisman Trophy winner, the two stars are ready to give fans an unforgettable finale.
